Big Dog Fishing Charters is family owned and operated. Captains David and Alden Bourgeois grew up here locally and were brought up fishing and hunting. Countless days spent with their dad plus all their Bourgeois uncles and cousins are treasured memories. Their love for the Louisiana bayous and way of life is deep in their soul. Capt. Alden started his fishing guide career in the 80's. Capt. David began guiding in 2010 and soon opened Big Dog Fishing Charters. Both brothers have always loved and enjoyed being on the water and sharing their love and knowledge with others. 



Big Dog Fishing Charters offers a full group of Captains to offer this amazing experience. Our expert fishing guides have a love and passion for Louisiana and our way of life shows throughout their time spent on the water, sharing this with our wonderful clients. They operate boats designed to navigate the many terrains and conditions we deal with year around. 

Our private charters include everything that you need to experience an amazing day on the water. Your Guide will provide rods, reels, bait, tackle, and cleaning your catch are all included.
